Diamond Pads for Engineered Stone Polishing

Engineered stone (quartz composites) is harder and more abrasive than most natural marble — it needs fresh, sharp diamonds and a disciplined grit sequence to reach a uniform gloss.

DIAMTO wet polishing pads list man-made stone among their specified materials in the product master. The range below covers 3 inch edge pads through 8 inch surface pads, all with the full 50#–3000# resin sequence.

Engineered stone polishing notes

  1. Do not rush the coarse steps

    Quartz punishes skipped grits. Spend the time at 50#–200# leveling the surface; the fine steps then only refine the gloss.

  2. Keep pads clean and wet

    Resin swarf loads pads faster on quartz. Rinse the work and the pad between grits to avoid deep rogue scratches.

  3. Use 3 inch pads for edges, larger for fields

    Edge profiles and sink cutouts need 3 inch pads; open countertop fields go faster with 5–8 inch pads on a wet polisher.

  4. Check gloss under raking light

    Quartz hides haze in direct light. Inspect each grit stage under a low-angle light before moving on.

What is the finest grit available?

The standard sequence runs to 3000#, which produces a high-gloss finish on engineered stone. Buff pads are available for a final mirror step.

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

The standard MOQ is 100 pieces per SKU. Mixed-grit sets can be combined within one order — tell us the grit breakdown you need in the RFQ.

What is the lead time?

Standard lead time is 15–30 days after order confirmation. Samples and repeat orders are usually faster. Sample orders and small quantities can ship by air freight to shorten delivery time.
