Dry polishing pads are the go-to choice for marble edge work on site: no water slurry on installed kitchens and bathrooms, fast grit changes, and easy touch-ups during installation.
DIAMTO dry pads are specified for grinding and polishing all kinds of stone — marble included. The 3 inch (80 mm) size follows edge profiles; 4 inch (100 mm) covers larger edge bands faster.
Dry edge polishing workflow
- Control the dust
Dry polishing generates fine dust — work with extraction or a dust shroud, and wear a respirator. This is the main trade-off versus wet polishing.
- Manage heat with light pressure
Without water cooling, heavy pressure overheats the resin bond and can burn marble. Use light, even pressure and keep the pad moving.
- Run the sequence without skipping
Marble is softer than granite but shows scratches just as clearly. Work through the grits in order for a uniform honed or polished finish.
- Finish edges to match the top
Polish the edge one step finer than the countertop if needed — edges catch the light and reveal any dullness first.

Can dry pads really polish marble well?
Yes for edges and touch-ups. These SKUs are specified for grinding and polishing all kinds of stone in dry use. For large-area high-gloss floors, wet pads are still the better choice.
What speed should I run them at?
Moderate speed with light pressure. High RPM with heavy pressure is the main cause of burnt resin and glazed pads — let the diamonds do the work.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
The standard MOQ is 100 pieces per SKU. Mixed-grit sets can be combined within one order — tell us the grit breakdown you need in the RFQ.
What is the lead time?
Standard lead time is 15–30 days after order confirmation. Samples and repeat orders are usually faster. Sample orders and small quantities can ship by air freight to shorten delivery time.
Do you offer OEM / private label?
