Restoration work starts at 50#–200#; routine repolishing can start at 400#–800#. The full sequence 50# → 100# → 200# → 400# → 800# → 1500# → 3000# delivers a high-gloss finish on granite, marble and engineered stone.
- Keep the surface wet
Wet polishing controls dust, cools the resin bond and extends pad life. Maintain a steady water feed and moderate pressure — let the diamonds cut instead of forcing the pad.
- Use a hook-and-loop backing pad
4 inch wet pads mount on hook-and-loop (velcro) backing pads for quick grit changes. Check that your backing pad matches the 100 mm diameter.
- Consider the 3-step option for speed

Do I need hook-and-loop backing pads?
Yes — wet resin pads mount on hook-and-loop (velcro) backing pads matched to the pad diameter (100 mm here). DIAMTO backing pads are reusable and built for angle grinders and wet polishers; a worn backing pad causes vibration, so replace it when the hooks flatten.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
The standard MOQ is 100 pieces per SKU. Mixed-grit sets can be combined within one order — tell us the grit breakdown you need in the RFQ.
What is the lead time?
Standard lead time is 15–30 days after order confirmation. Samples and repeat orders are usually faster. Sample orders and small quantities can ship by air freight to shorten delivery time.
